I love to explore my current neighborhood of the West Loop! It has such a bustling culinary and brewing scene, so I want to pass on my go-to places.
As you can see from the title, the West Loop really has it all! The French Market has everything from macarons to lobster rolls to sushi to german beer, so I recommend that if you're bad at deciding where to eat. You can feast on seafood fix at Da Lobsta for the best lobster, crab and shrimp rolls. Or even satisfy your sweet tooth and indulge in exquisite macarons at Vanille Patisserie.
Otherwise, Haymarket Brewing is your classic sports bar with house-made brews and filling American pub fare. Then there's Green Street Smoked Meats, which has the most delicious barbecue around, plus a sweet alley patio and a cool locals-only vibe.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is Freshii, the McDonalds of fresh veggies. They make everything on the spot, and everything includes a healthy serving of veggies. From quinoa bowls to tex-mex burritos, you don't have to feel guilty! So wherever you eat, bon apetit!
